Shannon Nagy, marin biologist from Australia, joined our non-profit organization Gate to the Arctic on the first expedition to Bear Island in July. He tells his story, while getting a haircut from Catharina Frostad on the dock, and how we did research, collected marine litter and laid the groundwork for the 2022 edition where we will bring young people from all over the world to the very same Island – in an effort to make them Arctic Ambassadors and storytellers to save the Arctic Ocean.
