Explore North has extensive experience in operating in high-latitude waters as a platform for photographers, scientists, divers, adventurers, and athletes. We use sailing boats equipped for arctic waters. In that way, we can be very cost-effective, reach areas bigger ships can’t, and most of all be sustainable in these pristine waters.
Our 49 feet expedition sailing yacht will be available for explorers, photographers, scientists and all others who want an experience out of the ordinary above the Arctic Circle all year round. It is stationed in Harstad with easy access to most of the Arctic.
The boat is very comfortable and sleeps six guests. It has central heating, an inside steering position and salon, a generator, a solid and fast dinghy, and a well-equipped galley where we make first-class meals based on local traditions and ingredients.
We have a sturdy rubber dinghy with an outboard for beaching, exploring, or deploying divers among whales. The boat has 220V to charge and power most electronic gadgets.

Included: Food and non-alcoholic beverages on board, experienced skipper, harbor fees and diesel.
Not included: Transport to and from the boat, personal insurance, personal clothing, and equipment.
